Utah State Women's Tennis Beats Idaho State, 5-2

LOGAN, Utah - Utah State women's tennis defeated Idaho State, 5-2, Tuesday at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club. It is the second time this season the Aggies have defeated the Bengals, as USU improves to 7-13 on the season.

In the No. 1 singles match Utah State freshman Hailey Swenson defeated Lisel Lewis, 6-1,6-2. Freshman teammate Taylor Perry beat ISU's Lauren Pascoe 2-6, 6-4, 12-10 in the No. 4 spot, while USU sophomore Brianna Harris took down Stephanie Roldan, 6-0, 6-2 at No. 2.

In doubles action, Harris and Swenson teamed up in the No. 1 slot to defeat Lewis and Pascoe, 8-4.

The Aggies wrap up regular season action on Friday, April 18, hosting Montana State at 1 p.m. at the Sports Academy and Racquet Club.
