Named the Salt Lake Tribune's 3A Most Valuable Player as a senior at Judge Memorial High School as he averaged 18.6 points and 6.5 assists per game... Along with earning first-team all-state honors in basketball, he was also a first-team all-state selection in football as a quarterback and a second-team all-state selection in baseball as a pitcher and outfielder... During his final two years of basketball he led Judge Memorial to a combined 46-4 record, a state championship as a junior and a fourth-place finish as a senior... An All-American nominee.
