7/18/08 - General Release Kent Stanley Named Senior Associate Athletics Director For Development Kent Stanley has joined the Utah State Athletics Department as senior associate athletics director for development it was announced by director of athletics Scott Barnes on Friday. Stanley will officially begin his duties at USU on August 4.

Utah State's Merlin Olsen Named To 75th Anniversary All-Sun Bowl Team Utah State football legend Merlin Olsen has been named to the 75th Anniversary All-Sun Bowl Team to commemorate the Sun Bowl Association's Diamond Anniversary. The team was announced Thursday by association president Joe E. Valenzuela.
